About LMC English Communications

My name is Linda Comyns and I am a British native speaker living in the south of the Netherlands. I have a BSc (Hons) degree in Zoology from Nottingham University, the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma and the Chartered Institute of Linguists Diploma in Translation.

Before starting my own business in 2009, I worked in marketing, business analysis, technical writing and training/education in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands. I have an excellent eye for detail, strong communication skills and an analytical approach to my work. I currently translate from Dutch to English, write and edit English texts, and teach English. I specialize in business texts, marketing material, technical documentation and education/training material.

I am a member of SENSE - Society of English-language professionals in the Netherlands - and served as the society's Web Manager from March 2016 to January 2018.
